Dow went down to 11,978.33 as the low point on Dow this AM...so far....
The question IS....are we done with correction or NOT???
Indices are @ the lowest point in 3 months???
Dow 52 week LOW is 11508.70......So we are about 470 points from hitting NEW LOW??
Markets are trying to "discount all economic issues facing US & the world"
Economic issues are many like High Oil,Low US$....to name a few ...plus new effect of rising interest rates...which will tank housing across the Globe.......
Everything IS discounted by markets sooner or later...this time around it IS taking LONGER???
Money IS being made in Ag,Steel,Coal,Oil,Gas....plus select Solar & Techs !!!!
Smart investors/traders recognise this and adjust quickly !!!!
In my portfolio :
Have been adding RIMM two days in a row ..my cost went UP to $134.84
Also added MRVL two days ago..my cost went UP to $16.55....
My portfolio remained MRVL,SOL & RIMM.......
MRVL UP 62 cents
SOL UP 48 cents.....They are pricing Secondary @ $20.50 which will close within few days...this IS much higher price than what some daytraders/hedge funds were positioned for..thus a short covering rally going on for 3 days...
RIMM UP $1.67 went to all-time HIGH and staying above old highs.....ER is on 25th AH ..expecting a BEAT & guide HIGHER....
@11.26 AM the following are green :
CMED ( had a beat on Q4 ER & guiding higher Rev for 3/09),WFR,LDK,
CTRN,ICE,JRCC(new HIGH),ABX,DRYS,BRCM,STP,X(new HIGH).

PS...I was able to bring mother back to Houston home ...she has made miraculous progress thanks to all of you for your best wishes & prayers.She was on Respirator 3 times and made it back in good spirit.She is being taken care by my sister , brother plus she is getting visit from Nurse & Physiotherapist daily.
Doctors & ICU staff were very hospitable to me ...they appreciated a "formal thank you card & chocolates for the entire ICU team"

Welcome back. Glad to hear that your mother is doing good and on the way to a nice recovery.
I made some dumb trade while you were gone. Watched Rimm moved back to 127 area, I was panic and sold Rimm at 133 when it was back up for a small profit and have been watched it moves to 149.
I am still holding SOL. I like to hear your opinion of where SOL will head to with the secondary price of 20.5. Will the target of 40 be still valid?

Thanks for your note re my mothers improvement.
SOL will be the next BIG performer in Solar sector..as they will have $170 million to expedite their production.....
I am expecting SOL to increase guidance for 2008 after secondary is complete in next few days....
As for RIMM...it is never too late to get back IN.....

Welcome back. Best wishes for your mother. My mother suffered a mild heart attack last week. She is home from the hospital but not doing well. Life moves on......

Sorry to hear about your mother's health......I try to learn a whole lot about any ailment through books & internet...which helps in guiding proper treatment or diet...Sometimes diet CAN do wonders.....
